About Skyscout
Who We Are
Skyscout Aerial was founded to fill a real need in eastern Montana and Wyoming, where rural infrastructure covers a lot of ground and the resources to monitor it don’t always keep up. We operate as a technical partner for the agencies, departments, and professionals responsible for keeping that infrastructure safe and communities protected.
We believe in showing up prepared, flying with discipline, and delivering documentation that people can actually put to use. Every mission we take on gets the same level of care, whether it’s a bridge inspection for a county road department or aerial support for a search and rescue operation.
Training & Certifications
Pilot Qualifications
Skyscout pilots are FAA-certified under Part 107 and maintain training in the following:
- NIST sUAS training standards
- Search and rescue operations
- Incident Command System integration
- Thermal imaging operations
- Night operations
When a mission requires additional FAA authorization such as a COA or Part 107 waiver, we handle that too.
